There is nothing more beautiful and Divine than a woman in full bloom, graciously navigating her first or one of many journeys into motherhood. The death of a maiden and the birth of a mother is one of the most sacred rites of passage in a woman’s life. When such a transition occurs, the woman should be held and supported not only by her family but by her community at large. Her village becomes her friends and fellow mothers who can impart wisdom, inspiration, relief and hope to the sleepless nights, lonely days and all that comes from such loss and gain in life within a short amount of time.
